     Every year in the month of January, a prosperous event is celebrated by the Biguenos, the Vigan City Fiesta. The feast usually begins during the 2nd week of the month until the first week or days of February. 
     January 25 is the date proper of the feast. The Vigan City Fiesta is very preeminent that a lot of tourist visits Vigan especially the Vigan Longganisa Street Dance contest. The said event is depicting in honor of St. Paul the apostle, the city's patron saint. Not only the longganisa street dance competition is the special event of this feast, but also the foods that made Vigan City be known or famous, one is the bagnet, a deep fried pork belly. 
      During the festival, every tourist has a chance to try authentic longganisa from Vigan. Usually, local people eat salami for breakfast but the food itself is too good to be eaten during the morning hours only. The town fiesta is really special for the Biguenos and also the tourists already.

It is the natural order of things, but no one wants to get old, suffer and die. So naturally, people do things to resist this big change, only to finally come to terms that they – like all living things – must wither away into a state of nothingness. But avoiding the natural changes of life only adds more suffering, creating a deep feeling that one is not being true to themselves and not living according to the natural order of the world.
