     Last May 20, 2019 there was an aesthetic celebration that seeks to strengthen every school in Region 1 as a better and more happy place to study and learn, which is the Happy Schools Movement with a theme "Paaralang Masayang Maglingkod, Tagumpay ng Bata'y Itaguyod."
     Since every student, not all but majority of them, wants a great and happy school that they will study at, the launching of the Happy Schools Movement is very efficient and timely as the opening of this year's classes was June 3, 2019. It is a great timing for the students will be entertained as well as they will be motivated. This is a celebration wherein they also promote how the DepEd Region 1's vision as of having a generation of responsive and cross-culture competent future builders of the Region 1 youths.
     By this program, it let students be cheered-up and to let them enjoy school for the betterment of their future. The Happy Schools Movement has 15 advocacy themes in the delivery of education services to the 14 schools division in the Ilocos region.
     The theme speaks that by a happy and friendly school, the future of every students will be saved and also stable. The theme inculcate to lift the drowning energy of school's and also students. This program is really important because this program, Happy Schools Movement want to entrust to students mindset that school is not only a place to learn in academic purposes but it is also a place for fun and to not be stressed.
     "Just enjoy your life to the fullest"

It is the natural order of things, but no one wants to get old, suffer and die. So naturally, people do things to resist this big change, only to finally come to terms that they – like all living things – must wither away into a state of nothingness. But avoiding the natural changes of life only adds more suffering, creating a deep feeling that one is not being true to themselves and not living according to the natural order of the world.
