Life's Mistery

Image
Life, as we humans know it, is multifaceted and defined based on perspective. That is why it is important to see what life is like for each person. Not the kind of life that we have from day to day, but what life is in a holistic sense.       There are several layers to life. Ultimately, we are only pure consciousness. Beyond thought, emotions, and bodily sensations, we are simply consciousness. I know this because when I have gotten into deep meditations, I reach that pure consciousness. I believe that everyone, in his or her essence, is this non-reactionary, non-identified self. This is our most basic layer of self, even though we cannot seem to reach it easily as adults. However, infants seem to be in this state automatically.       Beyond our thoughts are our emotions. Emotions, like thoughts, are reactions most of the time to circumstances. They are also connected to the body through hormones and chemical reactions wi...

High School Day

Image
It is a time to commemorate the birth of our school. There is a great deal of activities , boundless excitement and anticipation that awaits participants in different activities. Preparation starts ahead of time.  It has activities like the Parade, Awarding, and the most awaited Field Demonstration where all students in every year level show their talent in dancing. The judges will pick one year level   for the girls and one for the boys. The winners will receive cash prize. As a grade 10 student, this is our last High School Day as a Junior High School Students. The HS day is postponed because of the virus NCOV but it is for the safety of the students so it is a bit saddening. Although i'm looking forward for announcement that the HS day will still be celebrated ...

CHANGE YOURSELF FIRST

Image
C H A N G E  M E Change is the only constant in life Consider all the changes in a person’s life: a person is born a small baby, they live and grow, then one day become old and decrepit, and they ultimately die. It is the natural order of things, but no one wants to get old, suffer and die. So naturally, people do things to resist this big change, only to finally come to terms that they – like all living things – must wither away into a state of nothingness. But avoiding the natural changes of life only adds more suffering, creating a deep feeling that one is not being true to themselves and not living according to the natural order of the world. This, in turn, creates inner turmoil, as their resistance to change does more harm than good.  Change makes for new challenges, for different ways of doing things, and it creates a disruption of the normal way of living for most people. pic src:  https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=https%3A%2F%2...
